Product Introduction
Peach powder is a versatile ingredient derived from ripe peaches. It is often used to add flavor and nutritional value to various recipes. The powder can be made through freeze-drying or other dehydration processes, which help preserve the natural taste and aroma of peaches.
Production Process
The production of peach powder typically involves selecting ripe peaches, washing them, and then using a dehydration method such as freeze-drying. Freeze-drying removes the water content from the peaches, resulting in a lightweight powder that retains much of the fruit's nutritional value and flavor. Some products may include additional ingredients like maltodextrin to enhance texture or shelf life.
Nutrition Facts
Peach powder is rich in vitamins A and C, potassium, and other nutrients found in fresh peaches. It is often vegan-friendly, kosher, and free from common allergens like gluten, soy, and nuts. However, specific nutritional values can vary depending on the manufacturer and any additional ingredients used.
Product Components and Benefits
Peach powder is primarily composed of peach pulp and sometimes includes additives like maltodextrin. The benefits of using peach powder include its ability to enhance the flavor and nutritional content of desserts, smoothies, and other recipes. It also provides a convenient way to incorporate the taste of peaches into products without the need for fresh fruit.
Product Applications
Peach powder is versatile and can be used in a variety of applications:
- Baking: Adds flavor and aroma to cakes, muffins, and cookies.
- Smoothies and Beverages: Enhances the taste of smoothies, milkshakes, and other drinks.
